Kennoway manhole repairs

29 December 2017

Road users in Kennoway are being advised of a one day road closure on Tuesday 9 January 2018 to enable Scottish Water to carry out essential repairs.

The closure of the A916 near the junction with Braeside and Fa-Latch Road will last for one day to allow for the installation of three new manhole covers.

Scott Fraser, Scottish Water’s Corporate Affairs Regional Manager, said: “The road closure is essential while we carry out this important work and we will do all we can to complete it as quickly as possible.

“Local diversions will be in place and road users are advised to leave more time for their journey. Parking restrictions and access to some driveways will be affected during the work.  A representative will be available on-site to answer any queries. Customers are advised that the water supply and drainage services from kitchens and bathrooms will not be disrupted.

“I would like to thank affected residents and road users in advance for their patience and understanding while we carry out this important flood work.”
