Road traffic management in West End of Glasgow

15 February 2018

Road users in the West End of Glasgow are being advised of some road traffic management in Park Quadrant to enable Scottish Water to repair a collapsed sewer.

Engineers from Scottish Water’s contractors George Leslie have today, Thursday 15 February, begun emergency work to repair the sewer in Park Quadrant. They expect to have completed their work in three weeks.

To enable the work to be carried out, it has been necessary to close Park Quadrant at its junctions with Park Terrace and Park Gate. Local diversions have been arranged in liaison with Glasgow City Council’s Roads Department and will be in operation.

The road traffic management will be lifted as quickly as possible after the repair work has been completed.

Scottish Water apologises for any inconvenience to road users and residents, and thanks them for their patience and understanding.
