International Business Development (IBD) has been awarded its first international contract in Canada…

IBD has won a contract to deliver training to operational staff in the water industry throughout Alberta, Canada. We will deliver 15 training workshops throughout Alberta to explain the operation and maintenance of drinking water safety plans (DWSP).

We have subcontracted approximately 25% of the contract to MWH Global, who supported the rollout of DWSP in Scotland, and a further 25% to Performance Partnerships, a training consultancy based in Alberta.

By building on the experience we have from our own work in Scotland, we will be able to accelerate the implementation of the drinking water safety plans for this large province, thereby safeguarding the safety of the public water supply for millions of people.

The contract will be completed by 31 March 2012.
