Saving water

With Scotland’s climate, you might think there is plenty of water to go around.  Just because we have more than our fair share of rain, lochs and rivers in Scotland, doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t use our tap water wisely.

Some water saving tips are below.

Tip 1 - Make sure taps aren’t dripping, turn them off properly or replace the washerillustration of watering can and flower
Tip 2 - Use a watering can instead of a hosepipe in the garden
Tip 3 - Boil the kettle with only the water you need
Tip 4 - Use a bucket and sponge to wash the car instead of a hosepipe
Tip 5 - Take a shower instead of a bath
