Water can be fun - but it is also dangerous.
During the summer, children are often tempted to swim in lochs and reservoirs. The dangers of this include:
- Suction from pipes
- Becoming tangled in underground vegetation
- The depth of the water
- The cold temperature of the water
In Winter, children are often tempted to play on ice in lochs and reservoirs. The dangers of this include:
- The ice can be very thin and break
- The very cold temperatures of the water
- The depth of the water
- Getting trapped underneath a frozen section of water
