Work is now completed on the project. The completion of the project was marked by a visit from Alex Neil MSP, Minister for Health and Wellbeing, who unveiled a bench and trees bequeathed to the town by Scottish Water. For more information visit the latest news section.

We are entering the final stages of the project work. At Stirling Street there will be some traffic management while we do some underground work to tie together the various parts of the waste water network.

Molly the Mole, Scottish Water’s tunnelling machine that has completed a 1.2km storm water sewer under Airdrie, has been raised from the ground at an event attended by local councillors Jim Logue and David Stocks.
