Improving Services In Ayrshire
What we're doing
We're investing in your local area to help improve the natural environment in Ayrshire. This work will help protect the natural environment of the local coastal water and rivers
We will be installing a new storm water network from Kilmarnock and Irvine to our Waste Water Treatment Works at Meadowhead.
Many existing storm water facilities will be upgraded along the route of this pipe and three brand new storm water pumping stations will be built. This new network will help control and manage storm water flows so that people living in or visiting the area can enjoy the natural environment on their doorstep.
We will also be investing to improve the water network in your local area. We plan to upgrade, replace or repair over 600 miles of existing water mains pipes across North, South and East Ayrshire. This work will help to improve the water supply providing you with clearer, fresher drinking water.
