Earlston Pipeline Project

On 19th March, Scottish Water and its partners Caledonia Water Alliance, started work on a new 7KM pipeline to improve and secure water supplies in and around Earlston. Work has started near Rhymers Stone and will finish just North of Huntshaw Road in Earlston.

The £4 million project will be utilising modern construction methods to help minimise disruption to the community and protect the environment.

The project is part of a wider Scottish Water initiative to remove potential points of failure across the network, reducing the likelihood of service disruption in the future.

During the project, we will at points be working on the A68. We will notify residents and motorists of this nearer the time.

We will continue to update this webpage with our progress and pictures of the work.
