Clarkston Sewer Improvements

Work is starting soon in Clarkston to upgrade the sewer network to help protect local watercourse White Cart Water.

This £500K project involves the upsizing of the sewer pipes in Ashfield Road and Glendoune Road and the installation of an underground chamber at the junction of Eaglesham Road. This will improve capacity of the sewer network and improve the outfalls to local rivers and burns.

Work is due to start on Eaglesham Road on Monday 17th July 2017 and the project is expected to take around 7 months in total to complete.

The work is being carried out in phases to help reduce the impact on the local community. We will update affected customers as work progresses.
