Uphall Sewer Improvement Project

This £350,000 sewer improvement project invovles the renewal of 410m of cast iron rising main which runs from Uphall Pumping Station to a gravity system at MacFarlane Place in Uphall, West Lothian.

We've made up a Frequently Asked Questions document here for residents and road users.

Work began on Thursday 2nd June 2016 and was completed in October 2016.

We are currently carrying out the final phase of the project which consists of the replacement of the mains pipe along the footpath behind some properties on MacFarlane Place. All residents will be updated as to when these works will progress.

This work is being carried out by our alliance partners aBV.
