Westray Water Treatment Works Upgrade

Scottish Water is set to improve the security of supply to Westray by upgrading the current works to provide the area with additional storage.
Works include the construction of a new clear water tank and associated pump kiosk within the boundaries of the existing water treatment works site. The tank will be 12 metres long x 6 meters wide x 6 meters high

Construction is due to start on Tuesday 18 July 2017 and is expected to take around 10-12 months to complete. Please note that this start date is different from what was stated in initial postcard notices sent to customers.

We do not anticipate any planned disruption to your services and sinks and taps etc. can be used as normal. We will update this webpage as works progress.

Our alliance partners ESD will be carrying out this work on our behalf
