Scottish Water is committed to providing a website that is accessible to all our customers.
www.scottishwater.co.uk is developed to
W3C WCAG Level AA standards and is validated to XHTML Strict standards to make the website usable on modern browsers and screenreaders. We have also performed end user testing with Capability Scotland on this website.
There may be some pages that do not yet achieve compliance but we are working to improve these.
Changing the text size
You can change the size of the text by clicking on AAA at the top right hand corner of the page.
Internet Explorer (IE)
IE7, 8 and 9: Go to the Page menu, choose the Text size option
IE6: Go to the View menu, choose the Text size option
Firefox
From the View menu, choose the Text Size option
Safari
From the View menu, choose the Text Size option
Chrome
Choose the settings control in the top right hand corner of the screen and increase / decrease the percentage zoom.
Document viewer
Some of our documents are viewed in Google Docs whose standards in accessibility compliance are available here: http://docs.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=1631663
Other documents are opened as PDFs and can be viewed with Adobe Acrobat Reader, available as a free download from http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader.
