We intend to use the Utilities Vendor Database (UVDB) and Achilles Verify process on all contracts procured within our Capital Programme Procurement, where major contractors & consultancy services are required to assist us in delivering our Capital Investment Programme.

Suppliers who are interested in this area of spend and are not registered on the UVDB & Verify should consider doing so to ensure you do not miss any opportunity which may lead to business with us.

For our other capital frameworks, general capital and operational spend requirements over the current EU thresholds we will use either UVDB or direct entry in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU).

This will be decided on a case-by-case basis, based on ensuring the most appropriate route to market for the particular requirement. We advise you to register on UVDB and also check the OJEU on a regular basis.
