Supplier qualification

We are required by The Utilities Contract (Scotland) Regulations 2006, which incorporates the European Council Directive 93/38/EEC into Scottish Law, to procure all requirements over EU thresholds using an EU compliant procurement method.

To communicate our requirements into the market, Scottish Water use the following methods:

Where we have requirements under the thresholds and above a value of £50k, Scottish Water uses UVDB, OJEU or appropriate trade journals and newspapers which are deemed to cover sufficient adequate publicity.
