Clearer, Fresher City Centre

What we're doing

More Edinburgh families will benefit from Scottish Water’s ongoing investment to provide clearer, fresher drinking water across the city.

Ageing water mains in the Eyre Place and Brandon Street area are replaced by durable plastic mains, providing not only improved quality drinking water, but a more reliable supply.

Across the capital Scottish Water is continuing to replace ageing water mains with new plastic pipes. Already more than a thousand customers are benefiting from clearer, fresher drinking water. This latest project will deliver benefits to a further 400 customers.
