Scottish Water is taking action after recent cryptosporidium incidents

David Breen, Consultant in Public Health Medicine for NHS Dumfries and Galloway worked closely with Scottish Water during 2007’s cryptosporidium incident. He is delighted this action is now being taken following last year’s incident:

"From a public health perspective, we particularly welcome this development, which brings consistently high water-quality standards to all Langholm residents. The unpredictability of parts of the Langholm public water supply in adverse weather conditions should now be a thing of the past."
