Area Affected
Scottish Water will give at least 48 hours advance notification to residents if there will be any disruption to water supplies in the area. Periodically during the works local people may experience low pressure and discoloured water – it is recommended that residents do not use any water for washing clothes during this period. Instead, turn on the cold tap in the kitchen until the water runs clear.
Local people have been mailed a customer information pack which contains an Electrical Earthing leaflet, a copy of the guide to our Water Mains Improvement programme, a Special Needs/Business Requirements form and a reminder card to hang on the kitchen tap.
