MSP welcomes investment

Welcoming the Scottish Water investment, Mr John Scott, the Conservative MSP for Ayr, said:

“Since the serious flooding problems that occurred late in 2006, which affected many local homes and businesses, I have kept in close touch with Scottish Water to help make sure that action was taken to minimise as much as possible the threat of any future occurrences.

“Taken alongside the recently announced £100m investment package, which will include improvements to the standard of drinking water in Ayrshire, the upgrade to the pumping station is excellent news
