Shaping the future of water and waste water services
Strategic Projections

Everyone in Scotland depends on high quality, clear, fresh drinking water and the safe return of waste water to the environment.

We have set out our strategy for addressing the key challenges and opportunities facing Scotland’s water industry in the two to three decades to come. We are also preparing plans to ensure we can provide all customers with a continuous supply of high-quality drinking water, protect and enhance the environment, support Scotland’s economy and communities and invest in future water services.

Our projections take account of the feedback we received from customers, during our consultation, ‘Your Views Count’, during the winter of 2012-13 and our extensive customer research programme.

Our strategic projections will be updated every six years and our Business Plan, published separately, sets out our detailed plan for delivering the first phase of our strategies and progressing us towards being Scotland’s most valued and trusted business, one we can all be proud of.

A Strategic Environmental Assessment of the strategic projections is complete, view the Environmental Report and Post Adoption Statement here.
