An Ideal Addition
Scottish Water’s newest Top up Tap is located near the unique Victorian masterpiece Kibble Palace and glasshouses and offers the ideal way to stay hydrated on the go while exploring the impressive gardens.
A frequent visitor to the gardens herself, mum-of-three Judith said the refill point is an ideal addition to the park. She said: “It’s great-tasting water from good old Scottish rainwater made by our Scottish weather. What could be more perfect!”
Your Water Your Life
The Botanics’ tap is the latest installation in our roll out of public water points across Scotland. Part of our Your Water Your Life campaign, they encourage everyone to enjoy tap water and use refillable bottles to be kind to the environment.
Georgina Reid, Scottish Water’s corporate affairs regional manager, said: “It’s great to launch one of our Top up Taps in such a popular location in the west end of Glasgow.
“Families, friends and people of all ages spend time in the Botanics, and we’d encourage everyone to remember to take a refillable water bottle so that they can easily top up when they’re out and about.
“We hope our tap becomes a must-stop-spot in these beautiful surroundings. Topping up from the tap helps reduce plastic waste in the environment and it’s good for your health, as well as your pocket.”
