Construction of storm water storage tank

Watch our film update from November

Work on this £3.2 million investment to improve the waste water infrastructure in Eyemouth is progressing well and is over a third of the way through and is expected to be completed by Summer 2021.

Overview of project:

The project, which is being delivered by our alliance partners amey Black& Veatch (aBV), involves the the installation of new, larger diameter sewer pipes along Church Street and the construction of a 7 meter deep underground storm water tank within the car park opposite. This will help address flooding issues in the local area.  See below map for more details on proposed work.

Church Street will be closed as work to install the new sewer pipes is carried out. A diversion will be in place - please follow signs.

For the duration of the work the car park at Church will be closed.
