What We Did

We installed an underground chamber at this location during 2019. The chamber along with the new infrastructure being installed along the River Kelvin will help prevent items which are wrongly flushed down the toilet - such as rags, baby wipes, plastic cotton buds, etc. - from overflowing into the River Kelvin.

We worked with Hillhead Primary School and Kelvin Park Early Years during the project. The school was presented a fox that was carved from a tree that was removed as they have a family of foxes that visit the school. Kelvin Park Early Years was given a wooden Kingfisher.
