Some properties in parts of the Bridge of Don area of Aberdeen, AB22/AB23 may experience low water pressure following a burst water main.
The burst on a ten-inch water main in Tarbothill Road has affected supplies to around 150 properties.
Occurring yesterday evening, Scottish Water engineers were quickly on-site to repair the burst. However, as the repair was underway, it became clear the repair was more complex than first anticipated and required third party intervention in enable Scottish Water to access the location of the burst.
Currently there is no estimated time of repair. However, while the repair is ongoing, alternative supplies have been introduced to maintain customer supply. As a result, some customers may experience low water pressure or discoloured water.
