Next Update: Saturday 29th May 2021 18.00hrs
We are currently repairing a burst water pipe at South Waterland, between Lugton and Dunlop, which is causing an interruption to the water supply for customers in Dunlop and surrounding areas.
Our teams have been working on site since the early hours of this morning and albeit facing challenges at the location of the burst, have now completed a full excavation which will allow repair work to commence. Work is now underway to repair a section of the water main which has split.
We estimate that the repair will be completed and water reinstated around 18:00hrs this evening.
While we carry out the repair please be aware that you may experience no water supply, low / intermittent pressure, aerated water or discoloured water.
We will update this webpage and our additional customer service channels as soon as more information is available.
The water supply will gradually return to normal for customers once the repair has been completed and we will update this message with the latest progress of works.
