24 Hour Helpline
We’ll deal directly with non-household customers if they contact us directly in relation to potential public health or emergency issues. This includes:

Water quality
No water
Water pressure problems
Burst main or water leak
Water in gas pipes 
Sewer flooding and pollution incidents
Damage to Scottish Water infrastructure (such as a noisy or broken manhole cover)

Business customers can contact us direct on 0800 077 8778. This service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Licensed Provider Notification System (LPNS)

Information regarding unplanned service interruptions is available on the LPNS. 

Licensed Providers can search the LPNS for a list of all network issues that we are aware of. Notifications will be kept up to date with the latest information (locations affected, cause of problem, estimated time of restoration etc.)

The LPNS may also be used to provide up to date key service information in the event of any emergency incident. You can access the LPNS here.

Emergency Standby

We have an early warning system for any potential incidents that may arise and always have a team on standby to deal with any situation.

We may advise Licensed Providers of potential incidents through the incident management process. Please refer to the Emergency Planning section of the LP Customer Portal for more information.
