Isle Of Seil Information Event

Scottish Water is committed to providing a long-term sustainable waste water treatment system for the Isle of Seil.

As part of the utility’s continued engagement with the community, it is holding a pre-application consultation event in advance of the submission of a planning application to Argyll and Bute Council for a proposed new waste water treatment works at land west of sewage works, Clachan Seil, Isle of Seil.

The session will take place on Wednesday 6 February 2019, between 2.30pm and 6.30pm at the Seil Island Community Hall.

Ruaridh MacGregor, Scottish Water’s corporate affairs regional manager, said: “We would like to invite local residents to come along and view the draft planning drawings, discuss our application and ask any questions they have regarding our planning submission. Feedback forms will be available on the proposed application with views being referenced in a report which will accompany the planning application.”

In advance of the event, Scottish Water will make information about the application available on a dedicated webpage at www.scottishwater.co.uk/Seil
