We're advising road users of some road traffic management at Clerkland Bridge in Stewarton from Monday 10 August.

Resurfacing work will be carried out by the utility’s contractor Mackenzie and is expected to take around three days for completion.

Traffic on the bridge will be reduced to one lane with two-way traffic lights in operation.

This work follows a £300,000 investment project which was carried out last year and involved the installation of a 50-metre-long stretch of new water main under the Clerkland Burn to replace an existing main nearby.

The local community, businesses and road users are thanked in advance for their patience and understanding during these essential works.
