What we are doing

Road users in Drumchapel are being advised of a road closure to enable Scottish Water to carry out repair work on Kinfauns Drive, Drumchapel.

Following the completion of ground consolidation works before Christmas reinstatement of a 15" Water Main and replacement of several sewer pipes is underway.

We do aim to have this work completed by the end of May and the backfilling and reinstatement works in June. Once these are completed the road should be re-opened in early July.

During this time Kinfauns Drive will remain closed outside Drumchapel Health Centre and a diversion is in place via Hecla Avenue, Dunkenny Road and Drumry Road. Access to Drumchapel Health Centre and all properties will be maintained. The taxi rank has been re-located to Farmfoods carpark.

Throughout the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, we have continued to work around the clock to keep customers supplied with water and treat the country's waste water, while ensuring the health and wellbeing of our employees and customers are effectively managed in line with the Government’s advice.
