Scottish Water is investing £800,000 to replace 3 miles of water pipes between Machrihanish and Stewarton to ensure our customers continue to enjoy clear, fresh drinking water and reduce the chance of pipes bursting.
When we are doing it
Site set up will commence in late December and work will start early January 2020 for approximately 5 months. Work will take place between Machrihanish and Stewarton, along the B843, our contractor Amey will be carrying out the works on our behalf.
We held an information event on 25th September 2019 in the Campbeltown Town to provide the community an overview of our investment plans.
