Yetholm Park, Dunfermline Sewer Upgrades
Work started on 20th July at Yetholm Park in Dunfermline on a project to upgrade the local sewer network to help prevent flooding in the area. This is expected to take around 8 months to complete.
The work involves the upgrading of sewer pipes and the construction of a new transfer sewer pipe along land that runs parallel with Yetholm Park and down past the rugby club.
The second phase of the project is due to start on Monday 17th August and will involve roadworks on Lovers Lane/ Coal Road.
Coal Road will be closed (from jct. with Pittencrieff Road to the jct. with Nethertown Road) as of 17th for approximately 6-8 weeks. Diversions will be in place so please follow all signs. The alternative route for through traffic with be via B9156, A823, A907 and A994.
