Work started in March 2017 on a sewer replacement project which will address flooding issues in the Roanhead Terrace area of Kincardine.

Work was recently completed ahead of schedule by over two weeks

The project involved the replacement and re-lining of the existing sewer pipe along Toll Road. It was expected to take five weeks to complete but was actually completed in two and a half weeks

There were roadworks on Toll Road including a lane closure on Toll Road between Mercer Street and Dewer Avenue with temporary traffic lights in use. There was also access and parking restrictions.

During the work the junctions of Mercer Street and Regent Street with Toll Road were closed. Local diversions in place.

The eastbound bus stop on Toll Road located near the junction with Regent Street was suspended and a temporary bus stop installed to the east of Dewer Avenue.

The project was delivered by our Alliance Partners amey Black & Veatch (aBV).
