Our water is of a high quality. But over time, natural sediments can build up in our water mains pipes which could affect the taste, clarity and colour of the water.

We carry out a range of maintenance activities which ensure we continue to supply clear, fresh drinking water.

You may have received a letter from us with details of a short programme of mains sampling and flushing in your area.

We will sample the water from a fire hydrant and, if necessary, will flush out the water mains near you.
