Latest Update - March 2024

We have successfully completed the installation of new sewer pipes, increasing the networks capacity. This did take longer than anticipated to complete, mainly as a result of unforeseen issues relating existing infrastructure being very deep and not positioned as expected. Additional work was required break out the existing drainage chambers and rebuild them to the appropriate levels to meet the new infrastructure.

Now that the drainage work is finished our teams focus is to move onto the retaining wall, concreting for basin, gabion baskets and access road.

It is anticipated all construction activities to be complete on site before the end of July 2024.

What we are doing

  • We are building a flood retention wall as well as some sewer upgrades to help mitigate flooding in the area
  • All the work is within the strip of land behind the houses on Peatville Terrance and Redhall School. An area of vegetation and trees have been removed to allow access into the area, and work to progress
  • The site conditions are extremely constrained for space, with steep embankments on the side nearer Redhall School
