Accessibility Statement for Scottish Water
This accessibility statement is relevant to our primary website, www.scottishwater.co.uk.
We want everyone who visits the Scottish Water website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.
What are we doing?
To help us ensure that everyone who visits the Scottish Water website has a positive user experience, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone. The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Scottish Water website.
We are committed to making our website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
How are we doing?
We're working hard to achieve our goal of Level AA accessibility for all our website content. Our website is currently partially compliant with this standard. We will continue to make improvements to our website to make it easier for all our customers to use.

This toolbar allows you to do things such as change the language in which information is presented in, have the information on the screen read out to you and much more. You can access the toolbar on our website by clicking on 'Accessibility Toolbar' within the top menu, beside our search bar.
The ReciteMe accessibility toolbar user guide can be found here.
