George Street, Glasgow - Lane and Footpath Closure

We are making customers aware of a partial road closure and footpath closure in place on George Street, Glasgow to carry out repairs to a damaged sewer. 

The road is closed eastbound as well as parking, access and a bus stop restrictions for pedestrians.

The area has been fenced off and made safe while work progresses. Local businesses remain open, and drivers are being asked to follow all signs and allow extra time for their journeys.

The work is expected to take approximately 6 weeks to complete.

We will provide a further update on the progress of this work when more information becomes available.
