Luthermuir
The existing water network serving Luthermuir is to be replaced as part of a £1.4m project.
What are we doing?
Scottish Water has invested £1.4m to replace the existing water mains serving Luthermuir and the surrounding area.
What does the work involve?
The existing network of pipes required be excavated and removed before installation of the new pipes.
Work started in March 2020 and was carried out on Scottish Water's behalf by alliance partner Caledonia Water Alliance (CWA). The project was completed in early 2021.
Why are we doing this work?
This work is essential to enable us to provide a secure and reliable water supply to residents in Luthermuir for the future.
Engagement
An information event was held at Luthermuir Village Hall on February 25, 2020 for customers to find out more about the project and to ask the project team any questions.
