Road Closure - B7078 Carlisle Road, South of Larkhall

We have been carrying out urgent repair work in conjunction with South Lanarkshire Council on the B7078 in Larkhall which is the main route through the town. 

A burst on a 5” water main was quickly repaired with no impact on supplies for customers.

Reinstatement of the remainder of the carriageway under two-way traffic lights between Middleton Avenue and Shaw’s Road has now been completed and we anticipate the traffic management being removed and the road fully reopened by early afternoon on Wednesday 7 May 2025.
