project statys delivery

Project Overview

We are investing £1.2 million to upgrade around 3.5 kilometres of water main in Auchtertool, helping to ensure customers continue to enjoy fresh, clear drinking water while reducing the risk of burst pipes.

The work will be carried out in three phases to minimise impact on the local community. Phase one has been completed.

Phase two will commence from Monday, 1 September 2025 for approximately 10 weeks.

Morrison Construction is delivering the work on our behalf.

Update: Phase Two, September 2025

From Monday, 1 September 2025, the U034 between the B925 and the B9157 will be closed for approximately 10 weeks to enable phase two of our water network upgrade in Auchtertool.

Three-way traffic lights will also be in place on the B925, near the junction of the U034, from Thursday, 30 October 2025, for around two weeks.

Emergency and local access will be maintained via a signed diversion route. Please follow all signage in place.

There may be an increase in construction noise throughout the duration of the project. As always, we will do our best to keep this to a minimum.

The first phase of the project involved the upgrade of 2.2 kilometres of water network on the U033 from Camilla Road to the C48 Junction. With three phases planned in total, the remaining 1.3 kilometres will be replaced in phases two and three.
