Water Main Upgrade: Culbokie & Surrounding Areas
Project Overview
We are carrying out essential upgrades to the water main in Culbokie and surrounding areas to ensure our customers continue to enjoy fresh, clear drinking water, and reduce the chances of pipes bursting.
The work will be carried out in phases.
There will be roadworks during the period of work, including various road closures and temporary traffic lights.
The work will be delivered by Morrison Construction on behalf of Scottish Water.

Latest Information - August 2025
- B9169 Raven Croft to Church Centre:
Temporary traffic lights were in place from 16 June for approximately 15 weeks. We plan to remove these in the coming weeks, however; work will continue to progress in the area over the next two months. - Easter Kinkell:
Significant progress has been made in this area and we anticipate completion of this phase by mid-September. - Schoolcroft:
The road closure in Schoolcroft will remain in place until mid-October. During this period, local access will continue to be maintained. - Findon:
Works are ongoing in the Findon area until mid-September. We are pleased to announce that the road closure outside Findon cottages has been successfully completed.
Diversion routes will be clearly signposted with local access maintained during the above traffic management in the area.
