Newfield, Peterhead Water Mains Replacement

Scottish Water is currently carrying out essential water mains upgrade works to the South West of Peterhead to continue to provide clear, fresh drinking water into the future.

The work, which will help to increase capacity to support growth in the local area, involves the replacement of approximately 1.5km of existing water main with a new larger 400mm diameter pipe.

This work which is currently on site, may require some interruption to the water supply.  All customers affected by any planned interruption to supply relating to this project will be notified in advance of any planned shut.

Our contractor Amey is carrying out this work on our behalf.

Good progress is being made and completion is expected in Spring this year.
