We are currently dealing with a burst on a 700mm rising sewer main that runs between Saltcoats and Stevenston.

The burst is located within the area between Auchenharvie Golf Course and Moorpark Road West.

Our team have attended site and installed heras fencing to make the area safe.

Emergency contingency measures have been implemented to ensure continuity of service and to protect the local environment, and at this stage there is no material impact to customers or the wider waste water network. 

We plan to return to the site on 5 January to begin our repairs.

SEPA have been made aware and the site will continue to be monitored over the holiday period.
