Lane closure
Northbound traffic from Claverhouse Road will be diverted
Road users are advised of an upcoming lane closure at a busy junction in Dundee for essential maintenance.
Work to replace a defective manhole cover at the junction of the A90 Forfar Road and Claverhouse Road will take place from 9am on Friday, 4 July until 6am on Saturday, 5 July 2025.
During these times, the slip road from Claverhouse Road on to the northbound A90 Forfar Road will be closed. Northbound traffic will be diverted across the junction to the Fountainbleau Drive roundabout to come back to the junction and turn right onto Forfar Road. There will also be a lane closure northbound on Forfar Road.
Drivers are advised to plan an alternative route to minimise any potential delays or disruptions.
We appreciate the road closure will cause some disruption for road users but can only thank them for their patience and understanding while we carry out this essential work.
The closure is required to allow operatives to safely replace the defective manhole cover on the carriageway.
