Kilbarchan

Major upgrades
Pedestrian access is being maintained to shops
Scottish Water is carrying out major upgrades to the sewer network to help protect the environment of Kilbarchan.
Work began on Monday, 14 July for approximately 13 weeks.
There will be considerable roadworks during the dates above with footpath closures and no vehicle access or parking in front of the shops on High Barholm as well as lane closures on High Barholm and Station Road.
The footpath in front of the Kilbarchan Guide Hall is closed and signage is redirecting pedestrians safely via an alternative route. Pedestrian access to the shops is being maintained and local businesses remain open as usual.
Our delivery partner George Leslie is carrying out this work on our behalf.
We appreciate the roadworks will cause some disruption for road users and local residents and thank them for their patience and understanding while we carry out this essential work.
