What We Are Doing
The initial phase of work will commence on Monday 9 February and will involve setting up the site compound along with removing some trees and shrubs. The programme of work is expected to be completed within 12 months.
Roadworks will be required during this time.
In order to carry out our work safely we will be required to close sections of Margaret Walk to all public vehicles in three phases, suspending parking as we move along. The first closure will be in place from Monday 6 April for two weeks. Further closures are scheduled for August and September.
A road closure will be in place and parking will be suspended on Stewartry Road from Monday 20 April for 15 weeks to allow for installation of the tank.
Additionally, a section of the footpath between the houses on Margaret Walk and the park will be closed from Monday 30 March for five weeks.
Dates are subject to change. Advance signage will be in place prior to any road closures taking place.
We would like to thank the community in advance for their patience and understanding while we complete this essential work.
