Gap Sites comprise any eligible premises that are receiving water and/or sewerage services and no Supply Point IDs (SPIDs) are registered.
We investigate potential Gap Sites through various desktop searches and, where required, site visits. When a genuine Gap Site is identified, we will create the appropriate SPID(s) for the premises or asset (e.g. field trough).
If Licensed Providers (LPs) identify a potential Gap Site they should submit an application with all mandatory information including supporting customer contact details to us. Applications can be submitted via the LP Customer Portal.
